The New Moon today falls in the sign of Libra today.
Libra represents all relationships; including romantic relationships, business relationships and all one on one relationships. It also rules balance, justice, and harmony. Libra is represented as a pair of scales, which is often the common representation for justice. Just like a pair of scales, Libra is concerned with balancing the relationship between 2. We can learn a lot from observing a pair of scales as more energy is added to one side. We can learn a lot about balance. Balance requires compromise and adjustment.
Aries is the complementary sign of Libra, representing the self. So on a set of scales, Aries the self could be on one side, and Libra, the self in relationship to others could be on the other side. Each relationship with another person is only a reflection of your current relationship to yourself.
If you are resistant to your single status, instead of analyzing what the perfect partner is, can you examine the traits that you value so much in that perfect partner and ask WHY are they so important to you? Many folks want things from a partner that they don't even ask of from themselves. For example folks may insist on only dating financially savvy or wealthy individuals yet they never do any financial planning of their own. Or they may want a partner who is well travelled and international, but they themselves don't even have a passport.
What if you met a potential romantic partner who had the same issues as you? The same amount of money in the bank? The same education level? Etc...Would you be attracted to them? Why or why not?
If the answer is no, then this New Moon in Libra asks to reflect why not. Wat about yourself are you not accepting and not deeming as enough? As you accept yourself, you accept others, as you deepen your relationship with yourself, you're able to go deeper with others. As you go deeper within and in in your relationships, you may notice others have resistance to this, be thankful to them for showing you your own growth.
Lots & lots to reflect on, most sobering. Turning off the biggest loser & will now do some soul searching.
